Knitting For Beginners Workshop

About the Workshop

Welcome those new to knitting for this workshop where all the basics will be taught so that you can feel confident tackling simple knitting projects on your own. Together we will work through casting on, knits, pearls and casting off. There will be a focus on hand positioning to make those awkward motions much more fluid. Two basic stitch patterns will be taught: the stockinette and ribbing. Each participant will be given a pair of knitting needles at a short learning length, if you would like to use a full length needle please feel free to bring a pair or borrow a set for the duration of the workshop.

All tools & materials will be provided.

Workshop Policies:

Payment is required to reserve your spot.

Cancellation with 7 days notice: 
transfer to new date OR store credit.
Cancellation with 3 days notice: 
transfer to new date OR 50% store credit. 
Cancellation with less than 3 days: 
transfer to new date, no refund.
Same day cancellation or no show: 
no transfers, no refund. 

Minimum sign up: 4 participants. In the event that we don't have enough people to run the workshop, you will be contacted with next steps. 

While we understand that life happens, spots are very limited so please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.

Spots are limited to 12 people per session. 

Ages 18+ unless otherwise stated.  Every participant between the age of 12-17 must be accompanied by a guardian participating in the workshop.
